You can order the products displayed on this website on-line using the shopping basket and pay for your goods with a credit / debit card. All orders that you place on this website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The 'confirmation' stage sets out the final details of your order. Following this, we will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. Please note that this email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Chalfont Online.
Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on dispatch to you of the products ordered, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it (please refer to Returns and Refunds).

Prices
All prices shown on the website are inclusive of VAT at 17.5%. If we discover an error in pricing of the goods in your order, we will inform you as soon as possible, using the contact details you supply us, and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you within seven days, we will cancel the order. In the event of an order being cancelled, any payment made for the goods will be refunded in full.
All products are available while stocks last. If we are unable to supply a particular item that you have ordered, we will notify you as soon as we can after receiving your order.
You will be notified of the delivery costs automatically before you pay for the goods. Delivery charges are calculated based upon weight.
Payment
All payments are to be made to 'Chalfont Online'. You can pay by credit card Visa or Master Card, or by debit card Maestro, Solo, Delta or Electron. We also take American Express. To ensure that shopping on-line is secure, your credit/debit card details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of someone being able to read your details as they are sent to us over the Internet. All card transactions are carried out by Protx and HSBC bank directly. You may also pay by cheque or postal order if you so wish.
Delivery
We can deliver goods to destinations within the UK mainland. Please note that shipping charges to outside the UK mainland are significantly higher and are non-refundable in any circumstances.Calculation of delivery to destinations outside the UK mainland, is not automatic on our site. Please contact via email with your details if you live outside the UK mainland. We will quote you delivery charges via email.
We aim to deliver goods to destinations in the UK within 2-3 days in most circumstances. Normally orders placed before 10am will be dispatched the same day, although we can't dispatch same day if order levels are very high. Orders are dispatched by Night Freight Courier Services.
A general guide to UK mainland delivery costs are as follows :
Night Freight Weight up to 25 Kg £14.10 inc VAT
Weight above 25 Kg 28p per Kg inc VAT

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any of our items within seven days of delivery. This applies to all of our products unless they are bespoke or custom developed to ours or your specification.
To cancel the contract, please return the goods to us unused, unopened and in "as new" condition, giving the reason for the return as "Contract cancellation". Your refund will be processed, less delivery costs, within 30 days.
Should the goods be used or not in "as new" condition, the goods will be returned to you at your cost.

Should, for any reason, you be unhappy with the products ordered, please see the following returns conditions. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
Unwanted Goods
We do not allow the return of unwanted goods. Please make sure when designing your structure that you have selected the correct fittings and sizes. If you require advise about the fitting you require please email us, and we will get back to you.
Faulty Goods
If you return an item to us which is faulty, please return the goods to us for replacement. In the event of you returning goods to us, it is your responsibility to ensure that the goods reach us safely and we usually recommend that you send items back to us via an insured, signed for, postal method such as Recorded Delivery. When we have received the goods, we will test them and if found to be faulty we will refund the basic cost of posting the item back to us via Recorded Delivery with an appropriate level of insurance.
Damaged Goods
If your package arrives damaged, please sign for it as "damaged" and contact us immediately via email to sales@chalfontgifts.co.uk. Please do not return the item to us without speaking to us first and please contact us within three days of receiving the parcel, otherwise we cannot claim on our couriers insurance and as such your claim will not be processed.
Incorrect Goods Received
In the unlikely event that you have received an incorrect product or quantity, please contact sales@chalfontgifts.co.uk immediately (within 3 days of receipt). Please state which products you have received, any codes or part numbers on the outside of the packaging and any other relevant information. Please do not open the inner packaging for incorrect items.
Our Liability
We will not be held liable for any losses resulting from your use or the inability to use our website or resulting from unauthorised access to, or alteration of your transmissions or data in circumstances which are beyond our control.
We will not be responsible for loss of profits, wasted expenditure, injury to persons or animals and damage to property or personal items from structures that are designed by the customer or any other third parties. Please make sure that you refer to the product information section for assistance with designing you structure.
We will not be responsible for loss of profits, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data or any other loss which does not directly result from something we have done wrong.
You will be responsible if you use this website in breach of these terms of use and will reimburse us for any loss that you cause to us as a result of your misuse.
We make no promise that our website will be uninterrupted or entirely error free. Because of the nature of the Internet, the shopping on-line service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not responsible to you if we are unable to provide our Internet services for any reason beyond our control.
