Browsing for Products
Products on Chalfont Online have been broken into categories, such as Kee Klamp fittings by size and Galvanised tube etc. More categories will be added in the future. You can click on a product to see a more detailed description along with a photograph. You can also use our search box at the right of the page to find specific products. If you can't find something you require please email us using the contact us link in company information box and we will do our best to add it to our ever-growing range.
Adding Products to your Shopping Basket
You can from the categories pages add several products at once by inserting the amounts in each fitting add box and pressing the 'Add Selected Products to Basket button'. On the product page click on the button that says "Buy Now" You will then be taken to your shopping basket page that contains a list of all the items in your basket. Here you can also modify quantities and remove items from your basket.
Logging into your Account, Registering or No Account
You can purchase from this site without creating an account. This Will not allow you to see a history of previous orders. You can check individual order status with your email address and order number. If you have created an account before, you can click on Your Account at the top of the page and enter your e-mail address and password. If you don't have an account, again, click on Your Account and we'll create one for you!
Checking Out
At any point you can click the Shopping Basket button at the top of the page to go to your shopping basket page, and from there you can checkout. If you are not logged in you'll be asked to either do so or create an account or you can checkout without an account. You can then choose a shipping address, and enter your payment details.
Register
All customers to Chalfont Online can register, this can be done at the time of placing your order or you can sign up at anytime. Creating a login profile with Chalfont Online allows you to shop faster, track the status of your current orders and review your previous orders. Registering is of course FREE OF CHARGE. Your account is Password protected for your Protection & Privacy and you set your own password.
Please Note that we will NEVER ask you for your password.
Prior to dispatching orders we use your registered details to verify your details so please ensure that they are accurate.
Modifying Your Account Details
To modify any of the details in your account (including your address, phone number, email address and password) you will need to log in to your account (click on My Account at the top of any page). You will see a screen with your account details. Click on the "Edit Account" button and you can modify any of the details.
Your Order History
Any orders you make will be stored in your Order History, which can be accessed from your account page. If you click on an order you'll be able to find out its status. It will read one of the following:
Pending
Your order has been placed successfully but we have yet to begin processing it yet.
Processing
Your order is in the process of being put together and packed. Your order may also read processing if there are any item(s) out of stock, and if this is the case you will have been notified.
Awaiting Payment
If you decided to pay by cheque/postal order or bank transfer, your order status will read Awaiting Payment until we have received your cheque/postal order or bank transfer. We will then change the status to processing until payment has cleared.
Dispatched
Your order has been dispatched and will take 2-3 working days to arrive. We will also send you an email notifying you when we have dispatched your order.
Logging Out
Please log out from your account when you have placed your order to avoid anyone else gaining access to your details. You can do this by going to your account page and clicking "Log Out."
